Crescent Audio is a fictional audio equipment brand. This project started with an idea of blending a cylinder with a cube. The design is conducive to CNC machining processes with the core materials being used are aircraft grade aluminum and dense ABS plastics.

The design is meant to be simplified to the bare essentials of a turntable. Below the platter, opposite the tonearm, is a low noise dual speed dc motor which feeds a belt to the cylinder surrounding the lower portion of the tone arm. That turns a belt which spins the platter. The electronics are simplified to power and output.
